Can you see yourself as that female elected councillor or MP?
Join the Parliament Project for a workshop for women who have an interest in politics but don't know where to start.
Come along to connect with other women as we explore why women get into politics, what routes you can take and how to commit to your first steps. No matter what your political party leanings are, no matter what your background, life experience or age - you CAN. Spend two hours learning why you can and should be the voice for others. The world needs more women, in equality with men, to be making decisions and informing legislation that affects us all.
We are delighted to be joined by Councillor Moriah Priestley & Councillor Hannah O’Neil - also the Westminster candidate for Milton Keynes South - who will share why they wanted to get involved in politics and what it took to get there.
This session will be facilitated by Seyi Akiwowo & Hannah Stevens.
We adhere to our belief that our workshops are best delivered as female-only spaces where woman can come together to share, collaborate and support one another.
This workshop was supported by Rosa, the UK fund for women and girls. We are enormously grateful to them for the support for these workshops.
